Dinington Not Donington, But Gloucester Not An Imposter!
Laphroaig at this time of the morning....I say steady on........'I thought they said Donington, but it turned out to be Dinington!'........Oh well, never mind......nice squeaky new uniform though, eh Lorne?!!
Gloucester, however was the real deal. From the audience to the wonderful venue crew. Huge thanks to Nick, Beth, Karen, the lighting lads & Mr Stage Sound. Great turn out, rowdy mosh pit!
Oh yes. The new Merch turned up. To a fashion!

Workington & Manchester
Another 'Sold Out' in Workington.... and Lorne has the sign to prove it!! Thanks to the Marratimes. First time at the Academy3 in Manchester and a 200 plus crowd joined in. So much so, that they invaded the stage! Thanks to Tony & John, Kevin, Daz & Albert, Jason King & Lil.

Bedlam In The South West!
Exeter - First visit to the Corn Exchange. Bennets & crew literally tore up the venue - safe to say we'll be back there.....
Falmouth - Double headline with the guys from Limehouse Lizzy saw a 580 strong throng pack the Princess Pavilions......and Bennetts & crew go crazy aid bonkers AGAIN!
Thanks to all who turned out...........as well as Beef Janks, Blakey, Wayne, Greg, Tim, Andy, James and all the venue staff.

Scottish Dates Confirmed!
Live/Wire's first visit to Scotland will be on the 14th & 15th November 2008. Friday the 14th sees the band play at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh and on Saturday the 15th at the Ironworks in Inverness.

We received this e-mail today from Tom Kealey, the Manager at the Harlequin Theatre.
'The crew guys here love the band and say they are great guys to work with. Also it's not often my Tech manager describes a show as excellent, as he did with Livewire. Audience reaction was also excellent.' Thanks Tom!

New Dates!
For all you Welsh rockers - Friday 11th July at the Bridgend Recreation Centre and Saturday 12th July at the Queens Hall Narbeth. Also confirmed, the band will be headlining on Saturday 23rd August at the Denby Music Festival in Denby, Derbyshire. (Time on stage approx 9pm.) All the details can be found, as usual, on our Gig Guide.

Derby & Redhill
It proved wise to move up to the Assembly Rooms in Derby ! We have had some great crowds this year and this one was right up there with the best - all 309 of you! Thanks to Jane & Karen from the venue. Redhill saw new and familiar faces alike. Clare, who is on the support staff at the Harlequin, said it was the best show she had seen this year.....Enough said. Thanks to Mark and his wonderful crew.

The Dragon & St George
A 3 nighter this weekend. Sold Out in Ebbw Vale (Great to see Ronny again - you looked AMAZING!), 336 at the Point in Cardiff - our first visit to the Welsh capital and WHAT a reception! - then finally to Frome where we were made to feel very welcome by nigh on 300 friends. Thanks to Spike, Karen, Alex and all who came and rocked along with us.
